Dear Team Leaders and Coaches,
ISSU Association , in partnership with Lagoa City Council, are pleased to invite all interested teams or boxing clubs to participate in the 7th edition of the ALGARVE BOX CUP, which will take place at Lagoa’s City Sports Hall , from Januray 23 to January 25, 2026.
The last Edition of ABC, in 2025, was also hosted by the city of Lagoa and was attended by 103 elite boxers, from 17 countries. The reviewsmake us believe that the event will grow exponentially this year.
Important Info
It is mandatory for all Team Delegations to attend the Sport Entries Check Meeting to confirm their registered Boxers and team officials.
The below listed documents must be presented:
– Copy of passport or national identification document of each Boxer;
– Boxer’s Record book of each Boxer;
– Boxers’ uniforms (All boxers must wear red and blue equipment and boxing shoes);
– Declaration of Non preganancy.
– An athlete shall not be considered registered for the event until full payment has been received.
– In Elite division, only professional bandages are allowed.
– A tourist tax of €1 per person per night is not included in the stated price and must be settled at the hotel reception. This tax applies to guests aged 13 years and above.
Transfers between Faro airport and Lagoa are the responsibility of each team.
The Organization Committee recomends using Pick Me Up Transfers.
